Foremark weekly report week ending 27th August 2017
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
Not an easy weeks fishing at Foremark, however with the aerators repaired and working again the fishing in this area has started to pick up.
Anglers reported good numbers of fish to be seen moving, not surprising with over 8,000 trout in the water, however these fish proved difficult to tempt.
Mr Scragg fished a mayfly pattern and caught 3 using the same method to take 8 trout the week before. Paul Walker on Tuesday got to grips with the difficult fish taking 6 on a damsel and Klink hammer. Kevin Hart took a couple of hours off and went for a quick drift between 4pm & 6.30pm boating 4 trout on dries
The reservoir has had a large influx of water during the past month and is currently a few feet short of top water mark. Water clarity is generally good.
