Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Foremark continues to fish well on buzzers and damsels, and the fish are still holding down carver’s arm and around the bays. The banks are still fishing well but it will not be long before the fish start to move out into open water. Our water clarity is still very good and the water level is higher than I have seen for some time.

Mr Ryalls fished from a boat on Monday and had 8 fish using orange blob and magpie buzzers down carver’s arm while Tuesday Mr Burton fished with a green tin head damsel nine feet down under a indicator and netted 18 trout. Derby county angling club member D Smith fished with shuttlecock buzzers klinkhamers and diawl bach to take 8 fish from the bank.

Wednesday Tony and Ruth Kirk were back at Foremark and had a walk down to the wires and caught 25 trout between them on olive buzzers. Mr C Rowland and his boat partner Mr K Middleton used fast sinking lines and blobs to net 24 fish. The fishing was a little tougher on Thursday however Mr tom Johnson still managed to land 9 fish to the bank from the sailing club pontoon.

Jamie Scott took his boat to bramble bay on Friday and netted 20 trout on black boobies and a DI5 sweep line.

John Machin fished from the bank down carver’s arm on Saturday landing 11 trout the best a 3lbs 8oz rainbow all were tempted on dries and buzzers. J Scragg fished from a boat and netted14 on buzzers from carver’s arm.

Top rod on Sunday was Mark Law who fished from a boat and netting 19 trout and 1 20lb pike all on buzzers and damsels. The top bank rod on Sunday again was Tony and Ruth Kirk with another 15 trout on buzzers and viva.

The beginners course was well attened on Saturday and all participants reported the really enjoyed the day. (see the picture on our facebook page).
