Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Foremark has continued fish well again this last week with a weekly rod average of 4.5 for 158 rods. The past week has seen a change in the weather with a steady south- South West wind blowing in warmer air.

Damsels buzzers and diawl bach doing the bulk of the business. Flamingo bay has been fishing steady all week with Verdun’s point still producing the better results, the area from Verdun’s point to the sailing club pontoon has fished well after 15.00 every afternoon during the last week. Fish are now showing on the far side of cavers arm to some boat anglers.

Some notable catches last week are as follows: Mondays top rods were season permit holders Mr J Worley and Mr M Spence they fished just off Verdun’s point and landed 30 fish to their boat on sinking lines and boobies. Tuesday Mr J Graney and his brother Mr T Graney banked 25 fish between them from near Verdun’s point on floating lines and even had a few fish on dries. Mr Phil Roper fished the bank on Wednesday ant netted 10 trout on a gold head Damsel. On Thursday Mr Bill Stone fished buzzers and crunchers from the bank and landed just over 20 trout while Mr Middleton and Mr Rowland boated over 30 fish from Flamingo bay on floating line and buzzers. Season permit holder Mr S Wilson was out in a boat on Friday and netted over20 fish along the far bank in Carvers arm. Hut point was the place to be on Saturday as Mr G Clarke banked over 30 fish using an intermediate line and a small gold head damsel. Sunday Mr P Bailey banked 10 rainbows using floating line and suspended buzzers.
