Foremark weekly report week ending 20/11/2016
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
Closing November 30th
An interesting start to the week with some unseasonal nice weather for the first few days Monday Mr J Scragg took out a boat and fished dry fly drifting from Verdons point to number1 buoy and netted 12 trout all on brown klink hammer. Tuesday was very similar weather wise, season permit holder’s B Burton and J Graney fish on the surface with floating fry and cdc buzzers and boated 13 trout while season permit member J Fogg was on the bank and netted 5 very nice fish. Wednesday was a little cooler with a nice West South West wind. Derby county angler D Ashford fished of the pontoon with a long-tailed damsel and landed 11 fish by 1.30pm. I managed to get out on the bank for a couple of hours trying out one of the Rio InTouch floating lines and took 9 trout all on klink hammer. By Thursday the fish started to be a little more finicky however Mr P Whetton still landed 10 fish to the bank. Friday was a good day with 10 rods getting a 4.2 average with Mr Gamble taking 5 to his boat and Ian Jobe banking 7 trout season permit holder Mr S Wilson also bank fished and netted 9 trout. The weather was well on the turn on Saturday slowing the fishing down. Sunday seen only on brave sole out on the banks but Mr Cotterill was rewarded for his effort with 5 trout on floating fry from Verdons point and Flamingo bay.
