Fry feeding along the lodge beach and boat pontoon has continuing yet again this week with trout still feeding well during the early part of the week. Excellent water clarity also continues. Water levels are now dropping leaving plenty of room on the banks.

Mr D. Hudson tried bank fishing on Monday and enjoyed a good mornings fishing netting 6 rainbows on minkie and black damsels.

Scott Wilson had two visits last week finding plenty of fish in the middle of flamingo bay on a sweep line and fry imitations.

By the end of the week with the warmer days and cooler water the trout were moving well around Hut point and Flamingo bay as Mr Vinny sail found taking 12 trout on both klink hammer and buzzer. Season permit holder Ricky Cotterill found the pike on his trout lure after netting a fin perfect 5lbs rainbow trout he then went on to land three double figure pike and lost two over 20lbs.
