Foremark weekly report week ending 23/10/2016

Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Closing November 30th

Fry feeding along the lodge beach and boat pontoon has continuing again this week with trout feeding well during the early part of the week. Excellent water clarity also continues. A fresh stocking during midweek should help to keep the banks fishing well over the next few weeks.

Monday season permit holder B Burton banked 13 trout using a yellow eyed booby on a long leader. Scott Wilson was enjoying some good fishing from on and around the pontoon on Tuesday netting 9 trout on intermediate line and a F A B orange blob. Wednesday, it was Mr P Walkers turn to take 9 trout from the banks fishing a variety of areas using floating line and diawl bach and buzzers.

By Thursday the weather had turned a bit warmer and very light winds making the fishing a little more challenging however the banks still were the place to be as Mr. K Farnsworth found taking 4 very nice rainbows on his morning’s fishing.

Mr C Hazledine fished from a boat on Friday around number 3 and 4 buoys boating 11 trout on gold head damsel and a black gold head daddy.

Saturday was not an easy day however Mr G Moody and his boat partner still managed 14 fish to their boat and season permit holder Mr R Cotterill took 5 from the bank in front of the lodge (have a look at his picture on our Facebook ).

Sunday morning Mr. Webb and Mr. Wilkins fished by tower and dam wall and had 7 trout between them during a morning session.
