Foremark has fished very well again this week mainly the sailing club bay and flamingo bay doing well to both bank and boat, carvers arm and Bramble bay and gorse bay has all so fished well. The fish have been hard on the bottom during the early part of the day with sinking lines and boobies working well as the day warms up the fish can be taken readily on buzzers.


Tuesday Mr G Summerfield reported having a absolutely brilliant day fishing from the bank taking over 20 fish while MrJ Scragg and his boat Partner Mr K Scragg boated 20 fish on black and red buzzers.


Copenhall Fly Fishers Held a bank match on Saturday with 20 rods catching a total of 234 fish for a match average of 11.7 The winner on the day was Mr Mark Morris weighing in his four fish limit for 10LBS 6OZ


Foremark Fly Fishers held a boat and bank match on Sunday with 23 rods catching a total of136 fish for the match. Joint winners were Mr M Redfern and Mr G Hilliard both weighing in 8 fish for 15LBS 15OZ


The winner of this week’s prize draw of a free all day boat voucher went to Mr M. C.J. Elsey  of  Heanor Derby

From Monday 11th April 2016 we have negotiated with our landlord STW a trial period to the 31st November 2016 which allows us to bank fish along the first 400yds of the DAM WALL

Certain restriction will be in place for anglers fishing the Dam Wall, they must not disturb any of the stones facing the dam, lifejackets will need to be worn supplied if required at the lodge, access on & off the dam wall will be from one area (the pontoon / lodge end) which will be clearly marked
