Foremark weekly report week ending 03/04/2016

Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Consistency has been the name of the game at Foremark all season and has carried on to this last week with the slightly warmer weather, the banks around Verduns point and the sailing club Bay are still producing the goods on slow sinking lines and boobies and damsels, however some anglers are getting some consistent results on buzzers. The boats have been taking plenty of fish from just inside Flamingo bay. Carvers arm has fished well when the water running in from the cascade has been running clear. Sinking lines has been by far the most productive method for the boats.

The sand martins arrived on Saturday and are already swooping onto the water and taking emerging food, and are a good indicator to where the hatches are happening.

On Tuesday Mr K. Stringer fished from the bank just the other side of Hut point and took 14 fish on damsel and orange blob. While Mr Taft and his boat partner Mr Coley boated 43 fish between them on sinking lines and shellbacks from Carvers arm sailing club bay and Flamingo bay. Thursday was Mr Price turn boating 15 fish including a 6lbs rainbow and three others just over 4lbs fishing deep and slow. Mr P Francis banked 11 fish using buzzers fished deep in the sailing club bay.

The winner of this week’s prize draw of a free all day boat voucher went to Mr M. Gregory from Burton.
