Foremark weekly report week ending 26/03/2016
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
The week started very well with the slightly warmer weather, the banks around Verduns point and the sailing club Bay producing the goods on slow sinking lines and damsels, Monday’s rod average was a stunning 14.5. By mid week the fish were showing well all down carvers arm with the bank fishing around Bramble bay fishing really well, Flamingo bay has fished well in the afternoons with rising well in the shallows. Friday was a busy day with fish showing in most areas during the day, with both bank and boat anglers doing well. Then we had the weekend windy and wet with no boats out.
Mr. S. Weston took 25 fish to his boat on Monday on black and green. Season permit holder Mr. R. Cotterill banked 18 fish on Sunday this included 3 superb over wintered fish a variety of lures on a DI3 line with most coming from the sailing club pontoon.
Our first beginner’s tuition day was held on Saturday with a full complement of students and all reported having a good day, and a good few fish on the bank.
The winner of this week’s prize draw of a free all day boat voucher went to Mr J. Fogg from Mickleover.
