Foremark weekly report week ending 04/10/ 2015
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
A Mixed week the start of the week the fishing was excellent with fish taking well in and around both the boils and the cascade. Fly’s such as daddies and fry patterns were taking the majority of the fish, on or just under the surface for floating lines, with intermediate or DI 3 lines for the lures. With calm winds and boils or cascade not running over the week end the fishing proofed more of a challenge. Water levels are down again, leaving the banks a little muddy in some areas. A few fish are now coming in close to the banks first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening chasing fry for short periods.
Mr D Hussey had a enjoyable day on Monday taking 13 fish on daddy long legs and lures.
Thursday Mr Henshaw and boat partner took well over 20 fish along the dam wall.
Mr Stocks took the best fish of the week on Wednesday a fin perfect rainbow of 5lbs.
Alex Booth fished their annual Foremark boat match on Sunday
Mr G Moore took first place with three fish, including the second biggest fish of the day a 4lbs 6oz rainbow.
Mr B Street came in second with 2 fish including the biggest of the day a 4lbs 7oz rainbow.
