Foremark continues to fish well for some rods finding the right fly and areas have been the key drifting and covering as much water as possible and being prepared to swap and change your approach has put bonus fish to the net. The fish still high in the water and moving around from tight into the cascade to open water in the middle of the main basin and around numbers 2 and 3 buoys.  Floating and intermediate lines have worked best with an assortment of dry’s, muddlers and fry patterns working best white snakes and minkies have also worked well.

 

Coppenhal Fly Fishers held their annual Foremark match on Saturday 19th with 15 rods for a match average of 8. The winner was Mr M Laycock with 15lbs 1oz second was mr A Cragg with 10lbs 14oz. Mr Laycock also netted the biggest fish of the match at 4lbs 4oz.

 

 

The Graham Tagg memorial boat pairs match was on Sunday the 20th of September and was well supported and a good day was had by all. The winning partners was Mr S Wilson And Mr G Hofmann with a bag weight of 25lbs 7oz, 5lbs 15oz ahead of second place partners Mr G muddy and Mr I Buckley with 19lbs 6oz. The biggest fish was also won by Mr. G Hofmann with a rainbow weighing 4lbs 13oz. Best junior angler was Joseph Sacone age 6 who fished with his farther Joseph netted two fish for 3lbs 13oz and was presented with a new rod
