Foremark’s weekly report week ending 16/8/2015
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
The fishing is continuing to be challenging for some and improving for others with plenty of fish still chasing and coming short. Drifting in open water is bringing the best results around 4 buoy and hut point along with the cascade have been the best areas. Arrange of fly’s and lures have worked this past week with black buzzers, popper hoppers, orange blobs and dry bibios producing the better results.
The banks are still a major challenge although things are starting to improve. Water levels are good with plenty of room on the banks.
We will be holding the Graham Tagg memorial boat pairs match on Sunday the 20th of September and bookings have increased. Therefore if you wish to fish in this competition it is advisable you do so quickly by telephoning the Lodge to book a boat.
Good evening rises are a frequent occurrence and therefore the last 4 hour permit is an opportunity not to be missed. (1 fish kill catch and release permit for only £10.00 and a boat for an additional £10.00)
With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
