Foremark’s weekly report week ending 26/07/15

Telephone Number: 01283 703202

The fishing remains challenging again this week with fish mainly showing early morning or later in the evening. With the fishing being on the slow side there continues to be  no set pattern to type of line or fly again this week. However the fish that are being caught are of a very good stamp with a good number being over 3LBs a couple of fish over 5lbs. A nice hard fighting 7lbs rainbow fell to season permit holder Mr S Wilson on Friday near bush bay. Mr P Hind took a 4lbs 14oz rainbow as part of his 5 fish on Wednesday his boat partner Mr T Smith also netted 5 fish during their afternoon session. With the cooler weather over the next week water temperatures should lower which should give rise to some better fishing.

We will be holding the Graham Tagg memorial boat pairs match on Sunday the 20th of September so book you boats A.S.A.P to save disappointment.

When the conditions are right we are still getting some good evening rises, so take the opportunity of our last 4 hour permits. ( 1 fish kill catch and release permit for only £10.00)

With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
