Foremark’s weekly report week ending 19/07/15

Telephone Number: 01283 703202

The fishing has been challenging this week with fish mainly showing early morning or later in the evening. With the fishing being on the slow side there has been no set pattern to type of line or fly. The best catch of the week goes to Mr J Sragg with 12 fish on green diawl bach from a boat just out from Verdons point, while season permit holder Mr s Wilson took 8 fish boat on Tuesday.Mr Wilson on his third visit of the week had a nice rainbow at 5lbs 4oz from along the dam wall. On Sunday Mr M jacks fished the last four hours from a boat with his son and as always the kids show us how it is done by landing a stunning 5lbs 8oz rainbow on a fry imitation from open water out in the middle.

We will be holding the Graham Tagg memorial boat pairs match on Sunday the 20th of September so book you boats A.S.A.P to save disappointment.

When the conditions are right we are still getting some good evening rises, so take the opportunity of our last 4 hour permits. ( 1 fish kill catch and release permit for only £10.00)

With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
