Foremark’s weekly report week ending 12/07/15
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
The fishing has been challenging this week with lots of fish showing all over the reservoir feeding on and just below the surface on very small emerges and daphnia however some fish are spending short spells on the pin fry and these are the ones that have been easier to tempt. We have been having some very good evening rises.
Mr J Tomlin fished on Wednesday from the pontoon and caught his limit before dinner using black hoppers on a floating line fished static. Mr M jacks and his son took advantage of the evening rise on Thursday and took 9 fish on a last four hour permit with trout up to 4lbs 5oz while Mr N Neale took 6 fish on cannis patterns.
We will be holding the Graham Tagg memorial boat pairs match on Sunday the 20th of September so book you boats A.S.A.P to save disappointment.
When the conditions are right we are getting some good evening rises, so take the opportunity of our last 4 hour permits. ( 1 fish kill catch and release permit for only £10.00)
With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
