Foremark’s weekly report week ending 07/06/15
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
The weather has played its part again this week with strong cold winds at the being of the week. And steady winds thereafter. Water levels are remaining high but with reasonable clarity. Fish have been feeding on buzzers at the start of the week with crunchers damsels and pheasant tailed nymphs and diawl bach all so taking a good amount of fish. for bank and boat fishermen alike. The wind has been the dictator of the best bank areas. Carvers arm and just out from the lodge have worked best for the boats when the wind has aloud. Best boat catch this week was to season permit holders Mr B Burton and Mr J Graney taking 34 fish to thire boat on Friday on damsel crunchers and cdc’s. Mr G Machin gets the best bank fishing bag this week with 14 fish all on diawl bach.
Kirby Fly Fishers held a boat match on Sunday with ten rods for a 3.3 average. Best fish of the match was mr T Ward with a 2lbs 11oz rainbow best overall bag was Mr J Retallic with 13lbs 8oz.
With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
