Yes you guessed it, yet another week of changeable weather meaning the Fishing of different areas and with different tactics has been the way to go and this has changed daily. Over all the best method being buzzer fishing, using the washing line style. The fish in the main have stayed in the upper layers of the water and on occasions have been tempted with dries either fished static or twitched.

Mr M Govan and his boat partner Mr A Briggs boated 17 fish on Monday fishing Carvers arm with blue flash damsels and orange blobs. Tuesday season permit holder Mr S Wilson took 11 fish with tequila blobs while Wednesday season permit holder banked 17 rainbows using buzzers and dries from the banks near the wires. Mr s Wilson was back amongst the fish on Thursday using daddy longlegs and damsels taking 12 fish from just in front of the lodge. Mr P Harding and boat partner Mr J Perry took 20 fish to the boat..Saturday Mr J Scragg fished red and green buzzers for 11 fish Sunday was Mr J Woodward turn to be top rod with 7 fish all on goldheads.  We see a few pike caught every year and although we don’t have huge numbers Darren found them on Sunday catching a 30lb 18lb 16lb and two jacks all on tube flies all safely returned Well done Darren Whyman.
