Foremark’s weekly report week ending 24/05/15
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
The weather yet again has been somewhat unpredictable this week with cool blustery days and warm calm sunny days. However the fish have continued to feed and can be seen moving round in most areas in small shoals and changing their eating patterns throughout the day.
Intermediate and midge tip line have possibly been the way to go during the last week although floating lines have also done well, when teamed up with either dries or buzzers fished on the washing line. The boats have found that drifting across carvers arm and along the Ticknall bank has worked well in order to produce the better fish while from the banks, verdons point has done well in the afternoons and the small shore in front of the lodge has also produced some very nice fish.
With the dry fly’s starting to show now some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
