The weather is again the main talking point of the week with Tuesday and Wednesday having very strong winds and no boats being allowed out. The week started well with the boats doing well Mr Varley showed the way taking 20 fish to his boat using sinking line with boobies and blobs. Tuesday saw only three brave anglers on the banks however Mr J Graney still managed to put six fish on the bank. Wednesday season permit holder Mr T Taylor braved the incredible wind for a few hours and managed to take home his tea, Well done Mr Taylor. By Thursday the fish were up and moving with diawl batch and cormorants doing well even the odd fish on dry’s. On Friday we fished very well Mr S  Savage netted 16 fish from the banks of carvers arm including fish of 6lbs and 5lbs. The best boat bags used dry flys bibio hoppers and black hoppers mr J Scragg boated 11 fish in morning session. Saturday was another good day with 47 rods netting over 200 fish on a wide rang of flys and methods. Sunday buzzers was the way to go both on the bank and the boats best catch of the day for the bank was season permit holder Mr R cotteril with 12 fish all on buzzers, while Mr I Builds took 18 fish to his boat.
