Telephone Number: 01283 703202
Yet another good weeks fishing at Foremark with good catches of fish continuing around Bramble bay sunbless bay and down near the wires for the banks and the boats are continuing to find good numbers of fish along both sides of carvers arm. Boobies on sinking lines still producing fish however intermediate and floating lines are now getting some very good sport this last week. Thursday was one of those days when the fish were on the move with- in the water Colum. Mr Phil Harding took over 20 fish on dry’s from his boat along Carvers arm while Mr P Hatton took his 4 fish limit including a nice 5lbs rainbow from the bank on a muddler and season permit holder Mr J Graney took 4 fish from the bank on a booby including another 6lbs 8oz rainbow and his fishing partner also netted 16 fish on a floating line and long leader on a green and white fritz. Be prepared to change lines and methods as the fish move around..Flamingo bay and the sailing club bay are also now holding more fish. With the hawthorn bushes now being to spring into flower don’t forget to keep an eye out for the first hatches of hawthorn fly’s as some amazing sport can be had. So clean off those floating lines and stock up on your fly floatant. For more up to date information call the lodge on 01283 703202
