Foremark’s weekly report week ending 05/04/15

The weather has been the biggest story this week with very strong wind and rain at the beging of the week and ending on Sunday in calm warm sunshine. During the early part of the week with the boats not being out all the attention was on the banks around Bramble bay and boy did it fish well with a 10.7 average Tuesday saw season permit holders Mr Graney and Mr Burton Take 26 fish between them on 20’ leaders and black fritz on floating line. Mr Topping of Derby County Angling Club Also took 6 fish including a 6LBs 4oz Rainbow from Flamingo bay on a snake fly. Thursday another 33 rods fished on the bank and boats for a 5.5 average. Then on Friday another 32 rod s Netted 217 for a 6.7 average including 2 fish over 4lbs. The majority of the fish are still around bramble and sun blest bay’s but Flamingo is starting to show well.
