Foremark’s weekly report week ending 22/03/15

Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Consistent good sport continues at Foremark during our opening month with the bulk of the fish this past week remaining between hut point and the wires, with Flamingo bay and Verdons point starting to produce fish on a more regular basis.

Boats have continued to fare better than the banks with good numbers of fish being caught around the cascade and gorse bay. Tactics remain similar to the previous week with sinking lines and lures in the mornings and buzzers and diawl bach and floating lines in the afternoon or damsels fished through the top three feet of the water column.

Thornton members Mr. K Coley and boat partner   Mr. S Reynolds were out on a boat on Thursday and recorded over 40 fish to the boat including a 6lb 4oz rainbow and a 5lb 2oz rainbow. Mr Nobel also netted a nice overwintered rainbow at 4lbs 12oz.
