Foremark report week ending 09/11/2014
Telephone Number: 01283 703202
Fishing at Foremark this past week remains very similar to the previous weeks both in methods and areas. Minkie boobies on intermediate and slow sinking lines working best although floating fry and muddlers on floating lines have also taken a few fish. The lodge bank, the shores of flamingo bay produced. The banks have been more consistent than the boats this week. The best results have been by those anglers that have been mobile in their approach and also willing to change lines and fly’s to keep the fish coming. Derby County angling club member Mr S Cierech took 7 fish on Thursday using a variety of different boobies, from the sailing club bay. Mr P Fitch also took 6 fish from the shore in front of the lodge. On Sunday Mr I Buckley netted 7 fish from the bank around flamingo bay and down the arm to the wires as did his fishing partner Mr V Aronica on a mix of snakes and boobies.
Water clarity is currently is very good and the water levels are still very low this week and some areas of the bank may have soft mud/ sand. Just to remind you that we run a no wading above the knee policy.
