Foremark’s weekly report week ending 13/07/2014                                                                        Telephone Number: 01283 703202

Another week of mixed fishing this week, with the fish feeding well on some days and being finicky on others. Changes in air temperature and wind direction seem to be the key factors this last week. We currently have algae in most areas and the wind has dictated were the clearer areas are. The cascade and the boils are both running and should be the areas to concentrate your efforts. Again a wide variety of flys and lures have worked well, a change in line and fly sometimes is making all the difference. Water levels are still on the rise and we are almost full. This however has reduced the bank fishing to its end of spring level.

Tuesday the fish fed well around the cascade and the boils mainly on dries and damsels and blobs.

Thursday was another good day on the boils, with fish feeding well amongst the boils falling to crunchers, popper hoppers damsels, and boobies.

Saturday was a bit of a mixed bag with some rods doing well early on before it was too bright and hot.
