Foremark Fishing Report Week Ending27.04.2014
Rods: 154, Trout Taken: 237, Trout Returned: 500, Total Number of Trout Caught: 737, Rod Average: 4.7
A mixed week of weather during the past week has not put the fish off the feed.
The banks are still fishing well with bramble bay and sun blest bay still holding feeding fish, Vernon’s point and flamingo bat has also fished well. The boats have been finding some excellent fishing tight to the bank on the Ticknall side of the reservoir. The fish are now slowly beginning to move around and some good size fish have been caught around the tower. Intermediate lines teamed up with damsels or black and green lures or cats whisker’s continue to work well during the first part of the day then a switch to floating lines and buzzers have kept the fish coming again this week, some anglers are now starting to catch some fish on the dry fly patterns.
Best fish of the week goes to Mr Tim Roberts for his 6LBs 8 oz rainbows on a black humongous by the tower A mention also goes to Mr B Burton for 34 fish from the bank on daddy long legs and black indictor.
