Foremark Fishing Report Week Ending20.04.2014
Rods: 212, Trout Taken: 382, Trout Returned: 839, Total Number of Trout Caught: 1221, Rod Average: 5.7
Easter week proved to be another bumper week with well over one thousand fish being landed again. During the first half of the week the fishing was very similar to that of previous weeks with Sun blest bay and bramble bay fishing well and holding large numbers of fish, by the end of the week the Ticknall bank between the cascade and the wires produced a lot of fish to buzzers and blobs with one or two rod catching on dry’s.
Intermediate lines teamed up with damsels or black and green lures or cats whisker’s continue to work well during the first part of the day then a switch to floating lines and buzzers have kept the fish coming. Flamingo bay and verdons point has also held plenty of feeding fish this week; however the East north East wind has made it a little difficult at times.
Mr A Cartwright netted this week’s biggest fish a rainbow at 7LBs 8oz, Mr C Stocks 5LBs 12oz
