Foremark Fishing Report Week Ending 23/03/2014
RODS: 159, TROUT TAKEN: 263, TOTAL NUMBER OF TROUT CAUGHT: 870, ROD AVERAGE: 5.4
Another good week’s fish at Foremark, with fish showing well in most areas close to the banks. A fresh stocking during the week sprung Flamingo bay and verdons point back into action with slow sinking and intermediate lines producing the goods lures like cat’s whisker, hot head damsels, boobies and blobs all working well. Black and olive buzzers and pheasant tail nymphs also took a good number of fish in the warmer parts of the day. There has been some good numbers reported by the boat anglers down carvers arm fishing towards both banks and tight to the wires on similar methods to those anglers on the bank.
Best fish of the week was boat angler Mr T. Cook with a fin perfect 6lbs 3oz rainbow tempted with a olive booby.
