Foremark fishing report week ending 16/03/2014

Rods: 239  Total Fish Caught: 1822 No Fish Returned: 1317 Weeks Rod Average: 7.6

The fishing has continued to provide some excellent sport to both the bank and the boat anglers with the trout willing to follow and feed on a manor of different patterns. The most productive areas are still down carvers arm close to the wires and along the Ticknall bank from the cascade to the wires. As the week went on the fish started to shoal up in tight areas, so it is worth moving a few yards up or down the bank if you are not getting any action. The normal lures are still working well in the early morning, Damsels, black and green, orange fritz, as the day moves on it is worth trying the buzzers and diawl batch higher in the water.

Coppenhall F.F. held a bank match on Saturday 15th with 17 rods catching a total of 270 fish for a match average of 15.8. First was Mr.I.Buckley 2rd was Mr.J.Scot t and third was Mr.D.Baxter     DON’T Forget our popular last 4hr permit 2.00pm to 6.00pm ( 1 Fish + C&R)
