Foremark week ending report 10/11/13

112 Rods netted 205 trout returning 64 for a rod average of 1.8

Yet again another mixed week of weather this week and the fishing has remained a little challenging for some of the week, the fish are continuing to move in Flamingo bay and in the bays down carvers arm the bank anglers are still doing slightly better than the boats. Fishing is remaining steady this week in Flamingo bay, hut point and sailing club. The fish appeared to still be in small groups patrolling, so the best methods are to keep mobile and fish different areas during your sessions. There continues to be plenty of fish moving in Carvers arm move up towards the dam wall if the cascade is running cloudy. Slow sinking lines continue to be the better option, with the shorter day lengths and the cooling of the water the trout are more willing to feed on the fry.

It has been a good week for the larger fish with 13 fish over 5lbs being caught the best falling to Mr M Barker and Mr D Smith who both had fish to 7lbs and  Mr S Sail, ,Mr S Woods and Mr E McGarrigle all had fish of 6lbs
