Foremark week ending report 24/09/13

104 Rods netted 370 trout returning 198 for a good rod average of 3.6

The fishing this last week has been almost a carbon copy of the week before. At the start of the week the fishing was a little on the slow side but as the week went on steady improvement was evident with fish feeding on or near the surface in most areas. Saturday the fish switched on and the surface sport was excellent with a day’s average of 4.8 . Daddies, Hoppers, and black knats taking the majority of the fish, however some rods still had good sport on DI5 lines and intermediate lines teamed up with Diawl bach or minkies. The prospects are looking very good for more superb surface fishing now we have some more settled weather.

Forthcoming event.

Saturday 28th September This has proved a very popular match over the last couple of years and has been very well supported, so get you boat partners sorted and book your boats A.S.A.P as booking are going well.
