Foremark week ending report 08/09/13

123 Rods netted 193 trout returning 102 for a steady rod average of 1.6

Boat fishing has continued to lead the way again this last week with plenty of fish continuing to move around the boils and the cascade bay and along the centre of Carvers arm during the beginning of the week. Diawl bach, buzzers, daddies, hoppers and C.D.Cs and minkie boobies taking the odd fish. Plenty of fish showing in most areas feeding within the surface film, but these appeared to be pre occupied on their chosen pray and proved difficult to tempt. The banks around Flamingo bay and hut point are now starting to fish with daddies and hoppers when the wind and light levels are favourable. The boils fished well at the start of the week but have now been off since Friday, this should tempt them to look for new feeding areas.

Staff member K.Hart had a PM session on Monday and took 11 fish between hut point and the cascade all on the top .Mr A Cooper also took 12 fish near  the boils on hoppers and CDCs. Mr D Thompson, M Spence J Pink, R Edwards B Patterson and G Allsop all had fish 4lbs and over.

Forthcoming event.
