Foremark week ending report 18/08/13
Last week’s fishing showed improvement again with 90 rods netting 275 trout for a rod average of 3.1 205 of which were returned.
Boat fishing still leads the way with plenty of fish moving around the boils and the cascade bay. Buzzers, dries and muddlers have been the better patterns this week but cat’s whiskers and white fritz have also done well. There has been a steady improvement all week in the fishing. Monday Mr B. Coombes caught 11 fish with a cat’s whisker. Tuesday Derby County angling Club members Mr M.Watson and Mr M.Glover netted 17 fish to their boat fishing around the boils with buzzers and hoppers. Thursday saw Mr s Wilson land 14 fish 4 of which were browns, he was boat fishing in cascade bay and using black buzzers. Mr S Morris and Mr M Chater fished on Saturday afternoon and took 20 fish. On Sunday Mr M Ford landed 20 fish on cd’s also Mr I Buckley and Mr G Moody took 38 fish to their boat.
