Foremark week ending report 30/06/13
The fishing has been a bit patchy this week, with138 rods landing 293 fish for a rod average of 2.1. With the fish now on the move the fishing should improve over the next few days. In fact rod average this Monday was 3.9
The fish have moved out a little more again and are starting to feed with more confidence in the top 2 feet. Spider’s diawl bach and crunchers and f.a.b. blobs are working well on floating and midge tip lines. The fish are well spread out throughout the res. The banks are still netting some fish but it is a little challenging. Dry flies are now working and some anglers are enjoying great dry fly fishing at last. We have had some superb evening rises the last few day’s.
Don’t forget our last four hour permit at only £10.00 for a one fish kill then catch and release.(This is now proving very popular on the warmer days)
Season permit holder Mr R. Cotterill took this weeks best brown trout at 4lbs on cdc’s and cruncher combo as part of his 7 fish haul.
