Foremark Mid-week report 28/06/13
The fishing has been a bit patchy this week, with70 rods landing 120 fish for a rod average of 1.7. With the fish now on the move the fishing should improve over the weekend.
The fish have moved out just a little more this week however there are now fish in open water and the majority are starting to feed in the top 2 feet. Spider’s diawl bach and crunchers are working well on floating lines. The clearer areas have fished best. To- day however the clarity of the water is best at the head of the wind, with the cascade and carvers arm a little green this however should clear with the cooler weather over the week end. Plenty of fish can be seen moving in the surface layers and feeding freely in the surface film. The boats are getting the greater numbers of fish but the banks. All the usual areas are producing during different parts of the day. Flamingo bay, Sun blessed bay, and Bramble bay being the better areas from the bank.
Don’t forget our last four hour permit at only £10.00 for a one fish kill then catch and release.(This is now proving very popular on the warmer days)
