Foremark week ending report 09/06/13

Great sport continues with the fishing excellent again all week and the prospects are looking very good for the week ahead. This week 188 rods have caught 1021 trout for a rod average of 5.4

The fish still remain close in near the banks 20-30 yards out with only the odd fish in open water. Fish are falling to most line types and a range of different flys and lures, with buzzers and blobs doing best. The boats are getting the greater numbers of fish but the banks are still fishing well. All the usual areas are producing during different parts of the day. Flamingo bay, Sun blessed bay, and Bramble bay being the better areas. 36 fish between 3Lbs and 5LBs have been recorded this week.

Royal Oak fly Fishers fished a boat match on Sunday 10 rods caught 39 fish for a rod average of 3.9 results to follow.

Colwick Fly Fishers also fished a boat match on Sunday with 9 rods catching 56 fish for a rod average of 6.2 results also to follow.

Don’t forget our last four hour permit at only £10.00 for a one fish kill then catch and release.(This is now proving very popular on the warmer days)
