Foremark  weekending 02/06/13 report

169 rods fished Foremark last week catching 813 trout returning 235 for another good rod average of 4.8

The bank fishing this week has still remained very good with good numbers of fish being taken in Bramble bay and Sun blest bay, on both intermediate and floating lines. Buzzers dial bach, blobs being the most successful fly’s however drys are now starting to take some fish.

Tuesday saw Mr B Millington and Mr M Griffiths land over 50 fish to the boat on black buzzers and diawl bach.  Thursday Mr P Bown and his son landed 8 fish to 5lbs from the bank on a £10.00 last 4hr permit. Sunday Mr J Edwards netted 10 fish with the best weighing in at 4lbs 8oz.

For the boats the fish are still showing close in, and feeding confidently producing catches into double figures. The boats are finding lots of fish showing in most areas along carvers arm, cascade and heron bay, in fact in most areas close to the shore. Orange blobs are fairing very well specially when teamed up with diawl bach’s. Sun blest and Bramble bay along with Flamingo bay have also fished well on intermediate lines with damsels, and F.A.B blobs. Floating and midge tip lines with buzzers and diawl bach have also been productive. Some of the newly stock brown trout are showing from flamingo bay round to sun blessed bay, biggest to date 4lbs 8oz.

Don’t forget our last four hour permit at only £10.00 for a one fish kill then catch and release.(This is now proving very popular on the warmer days)
