Foremark week ending 24/05/13 report

Excellent fishing again this week and the prospects for the weekend are looking very good Monday to Thursday have seen 107 rods fishing and catching 722 trout for a rod average of 6.7

The fishing from the banks still remains in form this week with some rods doing very well. The fish are continuing to take buzzers and diawl bach with even more confidence this week.  Floating lines and midge tip lines are doing well.  The water level is still down giving good space on the banks. In some areas, and the clarity is very good. On the more overcast days the banks are fishing as well as the boat with fish showing close in and feeding confidently producing numbers into double figures regularly. The boats are finding lots of fish showing in most areas along carvers arm, cascade and heron bay, in fact in most areas. Damsels are still fairing very well specially when teamed up with diawl bach’s. Sun blest and Bramble bay along with Flamingo bay have also fished well on intermediate lines with damsels, and F.A.B blobs. Floating and midge tip lines with buzzers and diawl bach have also been productive. Some of the newly stock brown trout have also started to show from flamingo bay round to sun blessed bay.

W.M.P. F.  fished a boat match on Thursday 12 rods netting 152 fish for a rod average of 13 with a nice rainbow of 5lbs 8oz being the best fish.

Don’t forget our last four hour permit at only £10.00 for a one fish kill then catch and release.(This is now proving very popular on the warmer days)
