Foremark weekending 28/04/13 report

Another excellent week of fishing again this week with some big fish coming to both bank and boat anglers and another week with over one thousand fish caught. 177 rods caught 1075 returning 748 fish for a rod average of 6.1

The fishing from the banks remains in form this week with some rods doing very well. With the improvement in the weather the fishing has been excellent. The fish are now taking buzzers and diawl batch with more confidence.  Floating lines and midge tip lines are doing well.  The water level is still down giving good space on the banks. In some areas, and the clarity is still good although a little colour down carvers arm. The boats continue to fish better than the banks with numerous catches in the teen’s lots of fish showing along carvers arm, cascade and heron bay. Damsels and cats whisker have fared very well also in Sun blest and Bramble bay. Flamingo bay has also fished well on intermediate lines with damsels, black and green tadpoles. Floating and midge tip lines with buzzers and diawl batch have also been productive for the boats.

Best fish of the week goes to Mr P.Williams a stunning 10lbs 8oz rainbow caught from the bank in Flamingo bay on black buzzer. Mr Williams said when hooked this fish took him on a tour of Foremark. This fish was returned unharmed. (Well done). Plaudits also go to season ticket holder Mr Collins netting 9 fish including 9lbs 4oz,5lbs 5oz, 4lbs 8oz and a 4lbs 2oz rainbows in his afternoon session and Mr J. Ponting for his 8lb rainbow on a black zonker.
