Fishing has remained excellent as predicted the weekend warmer weather helped to do the trick with over one thousand fish caught again this week. 138 rods caught 1090 trout for a rod average of 7.9
The fishing from the banks has been in form this week with some rods doing very well. With the improvement in the weather over the week end the fishing was excellent. The fish are switched on to buzzers and diawl batch, to both floating lines and midge tip lines, olive and black buzzers doing best. The water level has dropped slightly over the weekend giving even more room in the margins in some areas, and the clarity is still good. The boats continue to fish better than the banks with numerous catches in the teens lots of fish showing on the far side of carvers arm to damsels and cats whisker other boats have fared very well in Sun blest and Bramble bay. Flamingo bay has also fished well on intermediate lines with damsels, boobies. Floating and midge tip lines with buzzers and diawl batch have also been productive for the boats.
