Foremark weekending report 31/03/13

70 rods caught 378 trout returning 267 trout for a rod average of 5.4

The fishing from the banks have been a bit of a challenge this last week with the strong cold east north east winds but with the improvement in the weather  over the bank holiday week end this has helped to improved the fishing. Mr I Buckley and Mr G Moody banked 23 fish on Friday between them despite the chilly conditions. The water levels are still slowly rising giving more depths in the margins in some areas, and the clarity is very good. The boats have fished a little better than the banks with numerous catches in the teens  lots of fish showing on the far side of carvers arm to DI3 lines and damsels and cats whisker other boats have fared well in flamingo bay on sinking and intermediate lines on boobies, black fritz and humongous.  The lodge opens 7.30 am so give us a call on 01283 703202 for more up to date information or visit our web site
