Foremark remains open until 30th November

Week ending 11.11.2011

85 rods caught 311 trout, returning 161 fish for a rod average of 3.6

The fishing has continued in the same vain again this week with the boats doing well along Carvers arm, and drifts above and below the cascade and just of the shore in front of the lodge yet again  DI 5 and DI7 lines remain the preferred chose, fished with boobies and minkie boobies  and gold head damsels. Fish are continuing to still slowly move towards the banks. Sun blest and bramble bay have produced some good catches of fish from the banks again this week, but the fish remain tight to the bottom moving up to about 8feet deep during the warmer parts of the day. On the brighter days the banks are a little slower. The water clarity is still excellent and the water level still continues to drop again this week, giving even better bank access.

Best fish of the week was a 5lbs 8oz Brown trout caught by Mr J Perry from a boat which he returned.

The best bank areas still remain Bramble and Sunblest bay.
