A mixed weeks fishing last week with 153 rods catching 324 trout, returning 123 fish for a rod average of 2.1.
The weather this week has continued dictate the fishing. Buzzers and crunchers along with damsel patterns have produced best results last week. The odd sedge has also taken some fish in the dryer periods of the week. Water levels are still good as is the clarity. The banks also continue to produce some good fish. Fish are still moving along the arm and in the bays down carvers arm. The banks are also still picking up fish between Hut point and Bramble bay with some showing in Flamingo bay although fish are now showing in open water. Floating lines and buzzers have continued to take a number of fish during the warmer periods of the day.
Mr A gamble, Mr J Cravagan and Mr H Davis have all had fish over 4lbs.
Mr Caley netted the biggest fish of the week a stunning 4Lbs 8oz fish which was part of a 5 fish bag (well done). 25 fish over 3Lb have also been recorded this week.
Foremark fly fishers held their boat match (Foremark heat) this week with 18 competitors. The winner on the day was Mr M Sargent with a winning weight of 14lbs 1oz, Best fish 4lbs 1 oz For a rod average of 2.5.
