Posted by & filed under Reports.

151 rods caught 458 fish returning 287 fish for a rod average of 3.

The banks have fished reasonably well on buzzers and floating lines, damsels and orange blobs on intermediate lines with booby’s on a sinking line also fishing well. Flamingo Bay, Sun blest Bay, Bramble Bay have been the better areas. However the fish have started to move away from the shallower water with the brighter days.

The boats have also fared well to buzzers and booby’s around Flamingo Bay and bramble bay fished about fifty yards out but fishing towards the bank.

Best fish this week are a nice lean 5lbs rainbow trout was amongst a 12 fish haul by Mr G Mann, Mr C Smith landed a fin perfect 5lb Brown trout from the far side of the tower.

Most unusual catch of the week was made by Mr J Pink landing a hard fighting 6.5lb barbel at the cascade on a Montana.
